General Information :

K-7079 is carboxylated polyester resin designed for hybrid system. It is used with Epoxy resin at the ratio 70:30. This gives a very good flow with an excellent over baking resistance and mechanical properties. It is use in glossy finish.

Product Specifications :
1. Appearance : Solid granules.
2. Colour : Slight yellower.
3. Acid value (mg.KOH/gm.) : 32-36.
4. Glass transition temp. (TG.) ºC : 60 ºC
5. Viscosity @200 ºC : 40-60 poise

APPLICATION PROPERTIES: :

1. Baking schedule : 180 ºC – 10 min. (Metal Temperature)
In air circulated oven.
2. Film Thickness : 50 – 60 microns
3. Gloss at 60 deg. : >95 unit
4. Mechanical (a) Reverse impacts
                      (b) Direct impacts		 : 120 kg-cm.minimum

5. Bend Test (Ø 2 mm) : Passes
6. Over bake Resistance : Passes

STORAGE

Keep away from heat source & direct sunlight. Avoid temp.more than 30 degree C.

PACKING :

25 kg. Net in paper bag with LDPE bag.
